Sophie
12/18 Sophie is a blind kitty who is very sweet. She is frightened at all the
changes in her life but adjusting. So far she does not appear to be overly fond
of the other cats. We are hoping that changes.
She was living in another sanctuary who ran into financial difficulties.
They merged and were take over by another shelter to save the lives
of their animals. Bless this shelter for taking in over 85 animals!
We reached out that shelter and offered to take Sophie.
When she arrived we immediately got her to the vet to have her eyes taken
care of. She had lived for 4 years in pain at the sanctuary with her
eyes not being cared for! She will have her stitches out in a few days.
2019 - Update, she is doing well, had her stitches removed. She is still not crazy
about the other cats but doesn’t fight with them. She basically ignores them.
