Chester
2007 Chester was found as a stray by some people who could not afford to keep or care for him. They were told by the local animal control center the he would be euthanized because he was sick and blind. They contacted us and begged us to take him. When he arrived he had both eyes bulging out, obviously no longer working. He was at the vet the next day to remove them and be neutered. He is super friendly who loves to be in your lap, rubs against you and just wants to be with you. He loves to play. Update: He has grown up to be a very friendly fellow who loves humans. His nickname is Chester the Pester because he will pester you until you pay attention to him. He is a cuddle bug with the other kitties and loves to run on the wheel. He loves to sit on people’s heads and shoulders. You may watch him LIVE 24 hours a day on his MESHARE camera. He is in house 2 Room 4 2021 Chester Has developed a slow growing abdominal mass. He has also developed diabetes. Considering all factors, he is doing ok.

This is a letter that I am having trouble wrapping my head around that I am writing today.  I knew some day but today is so unexpected. Sweet Chester, the love of my life,  has crossed over the rainbow bridge held in my arms as he left.  He was in the hospital overnight a few days ago,  something was going on,  he just was not acting right.  His blood work was normal, his xrays were normal, nothing giving us any idea of what was going on.  This morning he was "off", and did not eat,  we went back in to give him some medicine for nausea and offer him something else to eat and he was flat limp on the floor.  We rushed him to the vet and he was in worse shape when we got there,  the vet and I agreed it was time to let him go.  We are going to get a necropsy done to see what on earth was going on.    We promised him when he came to us 16 years ago he would never lose another home,  we would love him to the end.  For 16 years we keep that promise. He was nicknamed, Chester the Pester because  If you look at his page on the website you will see so many pictures of him loving the heck out of the other cats and riding on people's shoulders.  He was quite the character and will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have been loved by him.   Our hearts are broken.
